Elizabeth “Besa” Martin today officially filed to run for Kendall County Judge, pledging to bring conservative, common-sense leadership and a strong work ethic to Commissioners Court. A West Texas native with deep roots in ranching, law, banking, and community service, Martin says she is running to ensure Kendall County remains a safe, prosperous, and well-managed place for families and small businesses. Her campaign will focus on protecting taxpayers, supporting law enforcement, and restoring trust and transparency in county government.

“I’m running for Kendall County Judge because our residents deserve a leader who will listen, ask tough questions, and always put Kendall County first,” Martin said. “From water and transportation to growth and public safety, the decisions we make today will shape our county for generations. I’m ready to roll up my sleeves, work with others, and provide the steady, principled leadership our community expects and deserves.”
